APCO LABORATORY & TESTING FACILITIES
APCO have two test laboratories located at Jubail coating facilities. Site one, a Polymer laboratory, and a concrete weight coating laboratory located at site two. A clean, humidity and temperature controlled environment is maintained in both laboratories. Polymer laboratory is equipped to apply, inspect and evaluate Fusion Bonded Epoxy, Liquid and Thermoplastic coatings. Concrete weight coating laboratory is equipped to ensure the concrete mix design is appropriate to confirm negative buoyancy, density and compression test requirements are established and accurate.
Tests are performed in accordance with International standards, CSA Z245, ASTM, DIN, ISO, API, NFA etc. and APCO Laboratory policies and Standard Test Methods, and client’s requirements. A quality system based on ISO 9001 is utilized. The effectiveness of the management system is continually improved.
